Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos missed Thursday's game against the Florida Panthers with a lower-body injury.

The forward is considered day-to-day.

Stamkos has suited up in all 11 games for the Lightning this season, tallying seven goals and seven assists. He owns a plus-5 rating in 18:29 of ice time per contest.

The Lightning sit atop the Central Division with a 9-1-1 record.
