Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman T.J. Brodie will return from the injured list on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings, coach Sheldon Keefe told reporters.
Brodie has been out since Nov. 11 with an oblique injury.
The 32-year-old native of Chatham, Ont., had two assists in 15 games this season before suffering the injury.
Brodie is in his third season with the Maple Leafs after signing a four-year, $20 million deal with the club.
Previously, Brodie played for the Calgary Flames.
Meanwhile, Keefe said veteran winger Wayne Simmonds will play Saturday against the Flames.
Simmonds has played only six games this season.
