The Toronto Maple Leafs have placed forward Nicolas Aubé-Kubel on waivers.
Aube-Kubel has zero points in six games played with Toronto this season.
The 26-year-old signed with the Maple Leafs this off-season on a one-year, $1-million contract. Last season, he won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Colorado Avalanche.
The move comes just hours after the Maple Leafs recalled forward Wayne Simmonds and sent down defenceman Filip Kral.
