NHL announces 2021 Stanley Cup Final schedule

For the first time in 28 years, the Montreal Canadiens have reached the Stanley Cup Final.

After eliminating the Vegas Golden Knights with a dramatic overtime win in Game 6 of their third-round series, Montreal will face the Tampa Bay Lightning, who dispatched the New York Islanders in a thrilling seven-game series.

The puck will drop on the Cup Final on Monday, June 28 in Tampa and a potential Game 7 would be played on Sunday, July 11, if necessary.
