The NHL announced Wednesday it has postponed the Hurricanes' games through Saturday, which includes a two-game series against the Florida Panthers.

The Hurricanes were slated to host the Panthers on Thursday and Saturday.

Team's training facilities have also been closed until further notice.

The news comes a day after the league postponed the Hurricanes' Tuesday night game against the Predators in Nashville.

Hurricanes players Warren Foegele, Jordan Martinook, Jaccob Slavin and Teuvo Teravainen were also placed on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list Tuesday. They joined captain Jordan Staal, who was added to the list Friday.
