Egor Chinakhov is staying in Pittsburgh.
The Penguins signed the forward to a three-year, $18.75 million contract, the team announced on Sunday.
The 25-year-old was acquired by the Penguins from the Columbus Blue Jackets in December and made an immediate impact, recording 18 goals and 36 points in 43 games with his new team.
In 29 games with the Blue Jackets prior to his trade, he had three goals and three assists.
Chinakhov was selected 21st overall by Columbus at the 2020 Draft.
The Penguins also signed RFA goaltender Arturs Silovs to a one-year deal worth $2.8 million.
The 25-year-old had a 3.07 goals-against average and .888 save percentage across 35 games in his second year with the Penguins. In three playoff games in 2026, the Latvian posted a .939 save percentage and 1.52 goals-against average.
