Alex Nedeljkovic made AHL history Friday, becoming the first goalie in league history to score two goals.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins keeper iced a 4-2 win over the Providence Bruins with a full-length shot into the open net.
He celebrated the goal with a sliding celebration as his teammates swarmed him and then went to the bench for handshakes.
Nedeljkovic scored his first goal in 2018 while a member of the Charlotte Checkers. He also scored a goal in the ECHL in 2016.
Nedeljkovic joined the Pittsburgh Penguins on a one-year, $1.5 million contract in free agency and is currently in the AHL on a conditioning loan while recovering from a knee injury.
