Predators' Saros to miss final two regular season games

Watch as Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros heads to the dressing room after picking an apparent injury against the Calgary Flames.

Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros will miss his team's final two regular season games.

Saros left Nashville's 5-4 overtime loss to the Calgary Flames Tuesday night with an undisclosed injury with 6:32 remaining in the third period. The Finn picked up 38 wins, a 2.64 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage in 2021-22.

Connor Ingram was recalled from AHL Milwaukee and will backup David Rittich for the remainder of the week.

The Preds have already clinched a playoff for an eighth consecutive season but could still finish in the first or second wild-card spots. They will close out the season on the road with stops in Colorado Wednesday night and in Arizona on Friday.
