Report: Sabres' Skinner healthy scratch for third-straight game

Buffalo Sabres head coach Ralph Krueger discusses Jeff Skinner being scratched for a 3rd straight game, says he doesn't have a doghouse, and is focused more on working with Skinner to help him re-discover his potential.

Buffalo Sabres winger Jeff Skinner will be a healthy scratch for a third consecutive game, according to The Buffalo News' Lance Lysowski.

Skinner skated with the taxi squad Thursday morning, but reportedly won’t take warmups.

The 28-year-old forward has not played a game since Feb. 20 in the Sabres' 3-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.

Skinner has recorded just one assist in 14 games for the Sabres this season.
