The Minnesota Wild have signed defenceman Zach Bogosian to a two-year contract extension with an average annual value of $1.25 million, the team announced Wednesday.
Bogosian, 33, is currently in his first season with the Wild. Over 46 games this season, Bogosian has recorded a goal and eight assists.
Across 830 career NHL games, he has 58 goals and 164 assists for a total of 222 points.
Bogosian was drafted in 2008 by the Atlanta Thrashers and started his NHL career there. He has also previously played for the Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres, Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Wild acquired the 16-season NHL veteran in November from the Lightning in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round pick.
