The Buffalo Sabres have signed veteran goaltender Craig Anderson to a one-year deal worth $750,000, the club announced Wednesday.

The 40-year-old suited up for four games with the Washington Capitals last season after a decade-long stint in Ottawa. Prior to his run with the Senators, Anderson spent time with the Chicago Blackhawks, Florida Panthers and Colorado Avalanche.

He posted a .915 save percentage and 2.13 goals-against average in limited 2020-21 action.
