Even in a victory, the Buffalo Sabres got some bad news.
Josh Norris is in concussion protocol following the Sabres' overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, head coach Lindy Ruff told reporters post-game.
The forward left the game in the extra frame following a collision, and Owen Power went on to score the game-winner not long after.
Norris has a goal and an assist through nine games this season.
The 27-year-old has battled injuries throughout his career, never appearing in more than 66 games in a season. He suited up in just 44 games last season, potting 13 goals and 21 assists.
