Forward Parker Kelly has signed a two-year extension with the Ottawa Senators.

The first year of the deal, in 2022-23, is a two-way agreement with an annual value of $750,000 in the NHL and $100,000 in the AHL. The second-year has a value of $775,000 in both leagues.

"Parker has long been a consistently tenacious player for us," said Senators general manager Pierre Dorion. "He's competitive, hard-nosed, an efficient penalty killer and someone we can rely on to provide us with an energetic and determined effort every game."

Kelly, 22, made his NHL debut last year in the Senators' season finale when he scored against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also had 10 goals and eight assists in 33 games for Belleville of the AHL last year.

The native of Camrose, Alta., was originally signed by the Senators as an undrafted free agent in 2017.
