The Ottawa Senators added some size up front with their first pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.
The Senators selected six-foot-two Swedish winger Jonas Lagerberg Hoen 25th overall on Friday.
Lagerberg Hoen played only nine games with Sweden's Leksands junior team last season due to a knee injury, finishing with nine goals and seven assists.
He had 27 goals in 38 games the previous year.
The Senators acquired the No. 25 pick from the Florida Panthers last week in the Brady Tkachuk deal.
Ottawa also has the No. 32 pick in the first round.
Lagerberg Hoen was not in Buffalo for the draft.
