The Seattle Kraken expansion draft selections may have been spoiled hours before the unveiling, but that didn't stop fans from tuning in as the NHL introduced its 32nd franchise.
Beyond finding out the roster makeup, fans indulged in appearances from celebrities such as Macklemore, Sue Bird, Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Marshawn Lynch, and the Kraken's very own Intersectionality Consultant Chanel Keenan.
It's also the first time anyone could set their eyes on the deep sea blue Kraken sweaters. Goaltender Chris Driedger walked on stage donning the home colours after being introduced as the Florida Panthers selection, while New York Islanders selection Jordan Eberle came out wearing the white road jersey.
