Restricted free agent Jason Robertson has signed a four-year contract worth $31 million with the Dallas Stars, the team announced Thursday.

The winger has been absent from training camp as he waited to sign a contract.

Robertson had a team-leading 41 goals to go along with 38 assists in 74 games last season, his second full year with the NHL team.

The native of Arcadia, Calif. has 58 goals and 67 assists for 125 points in 128 career NHL games.

The Stars selected Robertson, then with the Kingston Frontenacs, in the second round (39th overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.

Robertson was the top scorer in the Canadian Hockey League in 2018-19, splitting the campaign between Kingston and the Niagara IceDogs.
