Veteran defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson joined the Florida Panthers in free agency, agreeing to a one-year, $2.25 million contract on July 1.
Ekman-Larsson was a free agent after the Vancouver Canucks opted to buy out the final four years and $29 million of his contract.
