The Minnesota Wild claimed veteran centre Vinnie Hinostroza off waivers from the Nashville Predators on Wednesday.
Hinostroza, who was placed on waivers Tuesday, has recorded two assists in 13 games with the Predators this season.
The 30-year-old signed a one-year deal with Nashville last summer.
Hinostroza was drafted in the sixth round, 169th overall, by his hometown Chicago Blackhawks in 2012.
He has 153 points (54 goals and 99 assists) in 387 career games over 10 seasons with the Blackhawks, Arizona Coyotes, Florida Panthers, Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins and Predators.
