NTT IndyCar Series:

Last Race: Sunday May 14th: The Road Course at The Indianapolis Motor Speedway:  Very chaotic with off-and-on rain, roll-the-dice tire strategies and lots of yellows! Colton Herta wins his first of the season, 7th of his career and first this season for Honda-power. Originally scheduled for 85 laps, delayed by numerous incidents and the arrival of rain near the midway point, the race reached its 2-hour time limit during a caution period.  Simon Pagenaud finished 2nd, Will Power 3rd

The Canadians: Not a great day. Toronto rookie Devlin DeFrancesco broke a toe link after contact with Reenus Veekay: 21st. Stouffville’s Dalton Kellett spun off in turn 6 on lap 36: wound up 27th-tail!

Last Race: Sunday May 8th: Grand Prix of Miami Florida USA, Inaugural event:  around the stadium where the NFL Dolphins play! Narrow place and an abrasive track and damn hot weather played havoc with the tires. Biggest drama: Lap 9 of 57 when Red Bull’s Max Vestappen stepped around Charles LeClerc for the lead. Max rode that to the end for his 3rd win of the season. He also picked up the fastest lap of the race for the bonus point. LeClerc hung in for 2nd, Carlos Sainz in the other Ferrari completed the podium!   Canadians: Lance Stroll stumbled his way to 12th. Nick Latifi still at the back: 15th.

F-1 points into Spain on the 22nd: LeClerc leads Verstappen by 19 in Drivers, Ferrari’s lead over Red Bull in Constructors is down to 6 points.
