Formula One World Driving Championship:

Last GP: Sunday October 29th, The Mexican Grand Prix Mexico City: This one was done after the first turn! When the lights went out, Max Verstappen, who started 3rd, bolted up between the two Ferraris into the lead! That first turn also knocked out hometown hero Sergio Perez, much to the dismay for the Mexican crown! He climbed Charles LeClerc’s left-front, resulting in a DNF and no points while his future at Red Bull’s remains under close scrutiny! This marks win 16 on the season for Verstappen, a new record, surviving a red-flag restart for Kevin Magnussen’s crash on Lap 34. Lewis Hamilton finished Mexico 2nd, with Charles LeClerc behind 3rd.

Canada’s Lance Stroll: a DNF after late contact with Valtteri Bottas.

Points: Just 3 GP’s left! The fight for 2nd place in the Driver’s Championship: Perez’s DNF take a big toss, as his lead over Lewis Hamilton dwindles down to 20 points. Mercedes leads Ferrari by 22 in the Constructors standings.
