Watch: Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale scores all-time Champions League goal

James Sharman and Craig Forrest break down Real Madrid's 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the Champions League Final Saturday.

After Real Madrid and Liverpool traded opening goals (Madrid’s on a brutal error from goalkeeper Loris Karius) early in the second half, the Welsh winger put the Spanish side ahead with an overhead kick that dropped the jaw of the entire soccer world.

Predictably, soccer Twitter lost its collective mind when the ball snuck into the top corner of the net past the leaping Karius.
