TORONTO (September 5, 2013) As NHL training camps get set to welcome back players, HOCKEY CENTRAL @ Noon, Canada’s top radio destination for all things hockey, returns for another season of entertaining and informative hockey talk, breaking news, insight and opinions. Entering its eighth season on the airwaves, the popular one-hour, weekday show debuts Monday, Sept. 9 at Noon ET on Sportsnet 590 The FAN and simulcast live on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West and Pacific at Noon local time (daily schedule subject to change; please check local listings).
Daren Millard returns as host of the show, alongside analyst and Stanley Cup champion Nick Kypreos, and former NHL general manager and head coach Doug MacLean. Hockey Hall of Fame member Scott Morrison will also make regular guest appearances on the show throughout the season.
HOCKEY CENTRAL @ Noon begins its new season just ahead of the start of NHL training camps, which open on September 11. Millard, Kypreos, MacLean and Morrison will set the stage as players trade in their golf clubs for hockey sticks, breaking down each team’s roster, discussing off-season moves and expectations, while delivering the latest insider information and interviews with high-profile hockey guests.
