The first episode of Road To The NHL Winter Classic makes its exclusive Canadian television premiere on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Sportsnet 360 and Sportsnet Now.
Created by Rogers and the NHL, and produced by 52-time Emmy award winner Ross Greenburg, the first part of the series, Road To The NHL Winter Classic, narrated by actor Bill Camp (12 Years a Slave, Lincoln) gives fans an all-access look at the Chicago Blackhawks and Washington Capitals as they get ready to face off in the 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015.
Road To The NHL Stadium Series – the second part of the series – shifts its focus to the west coast, as the reigning Stanley Cup® Champion Los Angeles Kings® and the San Jose Sharks® get ready for the 2015 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ in Santa Clara, Calif. on Saturday, Feb. 21.
As the home of hockey in Canada, the NHL on Sportsnet will deliver comprehensive coverage of the 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® on Thursday, Jan. 1 at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT on CBC, and the 2015 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT (channel allocation to be determined).
Broadcast schedule for remaining episodes will be announced at a later date. All episodes will be available on Video-On-Demand and paired with exclusive video content available on sportsnet.ca.
