Tennis Fans Receive Wall-to-Wall Coverage of Eugenie Bouchard and Team Canada at the Fed Cup, This Weekend on Sportsnet

TORONTO (April 17, 2014)
This weekend, the Genie Army invades Quebec City as Canada looks to reach the World Group I for the first time in 20 years when they take on the Slovak Republic in the Fed Cup by BNP Paribas.  Sportsnet has tennis fans covered, serving up courtside coverage all weekend long beginning Saturday, April 19 at 3 p.m. ET/Noon PT on Sportsnet ONE (see full broadcast schedule below).

Provincial heroes will be on display as Montreal natives Eugenie Bouchard and Aleksandra Wozniak headline Canada’s Fed Cup Team at Laval University in Quebec. The 20-year-old Bouchard is the highest ranked player in the tie at No. 18. With a win, Canada will secure a spot among the top eight countries that can compete for the Fed Cup championship in the World Group, beginning in February 2015.
