Milos Raonic announced on Instagram Thursday that he has parted ways with coach Ivan Ljubicic.
Ljubicic has coached Raonic since June 2013, helping the Canadian rise from No. 15 in the world to a career-best No. 4 this past May. During their time together Raonic won three ATP Tour titles and reached the final five other times.
The 24-year-old Raonic battled through foot and back injuries in 2015 that forced him to miss a number of tournaments, along with Canada’s Davis Cup quarter-final tie against Belgium in July. Raonic, currently ranked No. 14, went 33-16 in 2015 with his lone title coming at the St. Petersburg Open in September.
Ljubicic retired from professional tennis in 2012 following a career that saw him reach as high as No. 3 in the ATP World Tour rankings. He also helped Croatia win the Davis Cup in 2005.
