TORONTO (August 30, 2013) Make way for the ladies! Making history in its 18th season by featuring female fighters and coaches for the first time, the must-see season of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate debuts Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Sportsnet 360. Known as the toughest sports tournament on TV, the 13-part series will air every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Sportsnet 360, culminating in a three-hour finale live from Las Vegas on Saturday, Nov. 30.
TUF’s two-hour series premiere introduces 16 men and 16 women bantamweights, including five Canadians, competing for a six-figure contact with the UFC and The Ultimate Fight title. Those who make the cut will live and train under the same roof in the TUF house while being coached by arch-rivals – Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate.
Prior to the premiere of TUF, Sportsnet 360 delivers more than five hours of preliminary and main card action from UFC Fight Night: Teixeira vs. Bader at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT, with live streaming of the early preliminary fights at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on sportsnet.ca.
