Alex Pereira isn't interested in returning to light heavyweight.
The former middleweight and light heavyweight champion is "dead set" on a return to the octagon in November at heavyweight, per Paramount's Shakiel Mahjouri.
Pereira moved up to heavyweight for UFC Freedom 250, looking to become the first fighter in UFC history to win a title in three divisions. However, Pereira was knocked out by Ciryl Gane in their bout for the interim heavyweight championship.
The 38-year-old relinquished his light heavyweight title to challenge Gane.
It's unclear who Pereira would face next in the heavyweight division, as Gane appears set to face the current heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall, for the undisputed crown.
Pereira holds a professional record of 13-4-0 with 11 knockouts.
