The Toronto Tempo will be without both members of their star backcourt for Wednesday's game against the Washington Mystics.
Marina Mabrey and Brittney Sykes were both ruled out with injuries ahead of tip-off as Toronto looks to snap its 11-game losing streak.
Sykes is sitting for the second half of the Tempo's back-to-back for load management after returning to the lineup from a lengthy foot injury in Tuesday's loss to the Indiana Fever.
The 32-year-old guard scored 15 points in 21 minutes while shooting 6-for-15 from the field. She is averaging 19.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists over 16 games this season.
Mabrey, meanwhile, was a new addition to Toronto's injury report with a hamstring injury.
It is unclear when she suffered the ailment, but she poured in 22 points on 7-for-21 shooting on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old all-star has averaged 20.8 points and 3.7 assists on 44.1-per-cent shooting through 32 games.
Nyara Sabally and Maria Conde also remained out on Wednesday with calf injuries.
