Team Canada has added outfielder Dasan Brown to their roster for the World Baseball Classic.
Brown is replacing infielder Andy Yerzy who withdrew from the tournament.

The Oakville, Ont., native is the 15th-ranked prospect in the Blue Jays' system according to MLB Pipeline. Brown, a former junior national team MVP, last represented Canada in 2019 at the under-18 Baseball World Cup in Gijang, South Korea.
Yerzy spent the 2022 season in Double-A with the Amarillo Sod Poodles, slashing .220/.338/.402 with 12 home runs and 38 RBI. The North York, Ont., native was selected in the second round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Canada will play in Pool C at the World Baseball Classic in Phoenix from March 11-15. The United States, Colombia, Great Britain and Mexico are also in the group.
