The New York Knicks have announced that Carmelo Anthony has been listed as questionable to face the Detroit Pistons Wednesday night.
Anthony injured his right knee after getting twisted up while trying to catch a pass in the second quarter of the Knicks 102-97 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Monday night
“It’s just sore, not pain, sore and stiffness,” Anthony told reporters after the game. “It’s been going on for a while now.
Anthony is averaging 28.2 points and 6.2 assists per game in 50 contests this season.
The Knicks currently sit third in the Eastern Conference behind the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers.
