Just one night after they lost in a shootout to the Rochester Americans, the Hamilton Bulldogs will get a chance at redemption on Sportsnet ONE.
Last night in Rochester, the Bulldogs were down by two goals in the third period, but managed to tie it up before the end of regulation thanks to goals from Brendan Gallagher and Darryl Boyce. However, after neither team scored in overtime, the Montreal Canadiens farm team came up short, losing in a shootout.

The Americans have had the Bulldogs’ number so far this season — winning last night as well as beating them 3-1 on Oct. 23.
The Bulldogs have allowed an average of three goals against per game through seven games this year and the team has struggled to put the puck in the net as well, only registering 17 goals thus far. Despite this, the team has a 3-2-1-1 record.
Seven players are tied for the team lead in points with four, but players with NHL experience like Boyce and Blake Geoffrion will look to take the reins on the offensive front.
Meanwhile, the Americans are off to a 6-2-1 start and have been led by Cody Hodgson and Marcus Foligno, who each have 10 points in the first nine games of the season.
