Jets agree to terms with forward Brassard

The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with forward Austen Brassard, the team announced Saturday.

The 20-year-old Brassard played in 62 games with the Belleville Bulls during the 2012-13 season. The Windsor, Ont., native recorded 33 points and 94 penalty minutes. He played in 17 post-season games with the club racking up 12 points and 22 penalty minutes.

The six-foot-two right-winger was drafted by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
