The St. Louis Cardinals have multiple new COVID-19 positive tests, according to MLB insiders Robert Murray and Jon Heyman.

According to ESPN‘s Jeff Passan, the Cardinals took more COVID-19 test on Sunday morning and the team expects to have the results by Sunday evening.

MLB postponed Sunday’s doubleheader between the Milwaukee Brewers and Cardinals due to additional testing and monitoring of the Cardinals’ players and staff members.

As of Saturday, the league says two Cardinals players have tested positive and results from rapid tests indicated that one additional Cardinals player and multiple staff members may be positive.
