Nikola Mirotic is leaving the NBA to sign with Euroleague club Barcelona, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Saturday.
Charania added that 28-year-old forward was in the market for a $45-50-million deal in the NBA.
Mirotic, a native of Montenegro, finished the 2018-19 campaign with the Milwaukee Bucks after being acquired in a trade deadline deal from the New Orleans Pelicans.
He averaged 15.2 points and 7.4 rebounds on 43.9 per cent shooting from the field and 36.5 per cent from beyond the arc on the season.
Mirotic spent five seasons with Real Madrid (2008-2014) before heading to the NBA.
