As the Grand Slam of Curling season resumes, two teams will enter with some newfound momentum.
Scotland's Grant Hardie and Sweden's Isabelle Wrana won the European curling championships on Sunday in Ostrava, Czechia.
Hardie took the men's title with a 6-5 win over Italy's Stefano Spiller for the fifth Euro championship of his career and first as a skip.
Oskar Eriksson's Swedish side won the bronze medal.
Wrana, meanwhile, faced less tension in a 7-2 rout of Switzerland's Alina Paetz in the women's final.
The Swedish rink did not lose a match throughout the tournament after a 5-0 round robin. It now has three titles on the season, also including the Karuizawa International and Oslo Cup.
Latvia’s Evelina Barone took third place.
The GSOC season picks back up Tuesday with the Masters in Medicine Hat, Alta. Live coverage throughout will be available on Sportsnet+.
