Edin, who finished the tournament with an unblemished 8-0 record, held the hammer in the extra end and made an open draw to score the winning point.

It was the second consecutive runner-up result for Howard, who lost to Team Brad Gushue of St. John's, N.L., in the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard men's final this past Monday. Team Howard ended with a 7-2 record in Penticton.
