Defending Masters champion Rachel Homan has a chance to make it two in a row as she earned a berth in the final on Saturday night in Abbotsford, B.C.
The Ottawa rink broke a tie with a three-ender in the seventh end to win their semifinal match 6-3 over Switzerland’s Mirjam Ott.

It was a marathon day for Homan, who defeated Winnipeg’s Chelsea Carey 5-1 in the morning tiebreaker and topped Edmonton’s Heather Nedohin 6-3 in the afternoon quarter-final round.
Homan won her first Grand Slam title at the Masters a year ago and will now face reigning world champion Eve Muirhead from Scotland for the Masters trophy.
Muirhead scored deuces in the second and fourth and stole a pair in the seventh end to beat Winnipeg’s Jennifer Jones 7-3.
