The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club selected 10 players including five forwards, four defencemen and one goalie in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft held online today.
The Hitmen drafted Oliver Tulk with their first pick, 12th overall. Tulk, a product of Gibsons, BC, played Bantam Prep with Delta Hockey Academy this past season.
The 5’7”, 160-pound centre led the team in scoring with 69 points (27g, 42a) in 30 games. He also tallied 10 points (3g, 7a) in two post-season contests.
“Our organization is very excited with the potential of this draft class,” said Hitmen Director of Player Personnel Dallas Thompson.
“We have added a lot of scoring to our prospect pool while selecting several elite puck-moving defencemen and a goaltender with plenty of upside. We would like to welcome all of our picks to the Hitmen.”
