Blackhawks agree to one-year extension with Andreas Martinsen

The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to a one-year contract extension with forward Andreas Martinsen, the team announced on Thursday.

Martinsen, 27, appeared in nine games with the Blackhawks this past season after he was acquired from the Montreal Canadiens in October.

He also recorded 12 goals and 16 assists in 64 games with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL this past year.
