Arizona Coyotes forward Max Domi will be out indefinitely after undergoing successful hand surgery, the team announced Tuesday.

Domi hurt his hand in a fight with Garnet Hathaway of the Calgary Flames on Dec. 8.

The 21-year-old has five goals and 11 assists in 26 games this season as a sophomore.

The Coyotes do expect Domi to return to the lineup at some point this season.
