Tuesday’s Philadelphia Flyers morning skate was put on pause when centre Sean Couturier left practice with an apparent injury.

According to reporters at the rink, Couturier collided with teammate Radko Gudas and needed to be helped off the ice by trainer Jim McCrossin.

The team has yet to issue any updates on his status.

Couturier’s role on the team in these playoffs can’t be understated, especially at his position. The centreman has been logging big minutes, reaching a whopping 27:15 in Game 2’s 5-1 victory while also contributing a goal and an assist.

The Flyers, down 2-1 in their first-round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins, will suit up for Game 4 Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. ET.
