The Edmonton Oilers agreed to a two-year extension with goalie Laurent Brossoit.
According to multiple reports, Brossoit’s new contract will carry an average annual value of $750,000.

Brossoit was scheduled to become a restricted free agent at the end of the 2015-16 season. The 22-year-old has appeared in one NHL game with the Oilers this season and has spent the majority of the year with the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors, recording a .919 save percentage and 2.69 goals-against average.
The Calgary Flames originally selected the goaltender in the sixth round (164th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
