RFA Ty Rattie inks one-year deal with St. Louis

Ty Rattie scored his first-ever goal as the Blues dumped the Devils 5-2.

The St. Louis Blues have signed restricted free agent Ty Rattie to a one-year, $650,000 contract.

Rattie was a second-round pick (32nd overall) of St. Louis in 2011. The winger played in 13 games for the Blues last season, scoring four goals and adding two assists.

The winger has spent much of the past three seasons with the Blues’ AHL affiliate in Chicago, where he had 46 points (17 goals, 29 assists) in 67 games in 2015-16.

The 23-year-old will still be a restricted free agent at the end of this season.

He has four goals and four assists in 25 career NHL games.
