Captain Shane Wright and defenceman Corson Ceulemans will not be in the lineup when Canada plays Latvia on Wednesday at the Under-18 World Hockey Championship.

Both will be held out due to precautionary reasons that are not related to COVID-19, per Hockey Canada.

Wright had an excellent debut in Canada's game against Sweden on Tuesday, with the centre scoring a hat trick in Canada's 12-1 victory. Ceulemans had an assist on Mason McTavish's third period goal
