The Toronto Blue Jays made a late change to their lineup ahead of Thursday's loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Outfielder Alan Roden was scratched from the starting lineup with right knee inflammation, the team said.
Roden was originally slated to bat eighth in the lineup and play in left field. Will Robertson will take his place in both the lineup and the field.
After the game, Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith reported that Roden is day-to-day and would have been available off the bench in an emergency.
The 25-year-old Roden has suited up for the Blue Jays' last three games and has made an appearance in 11 of the team's last 15 games throughout June since getting the call back up to the majors in late May.
Over 39 games this season, Roden is batting .202 with a .562 OPS and has one home run. However, since returning from triple-A on June 1, he's batting .313 with a .743 OPS and three RBIs.
Robertson, meanwhile, is batting .167 with one RBI in his two games since getting the call-up from Buffalo last week. In 52 games at triple-A, he batted .288 with a .992 OPS and 12 home runs.
