Ronald Acuna Jr. will not miss a game despite injuring his hand on Monday.
The former MVP will be in the Atlanta Braves lineup Tuesday against the Washington Nationals, starting in right field and leading off.
Acuna's status was uncertain after he was twice hit by pitches in Monday's series opener. He was lifted from the game in the sixth inning after the second one struck him on his hand.
X-rays on the injury came back negative.
Manager Walt Weiss said he wanted to rest Acuna on Tuesday but the right-fielder asked to play, according to Braves insider Mark Bowman.
So far this season, Acuna has hit .244/.359/.360 with one home run and four stolen bases in 23 games.
