Milwaukee Brewers hitters will be in tough to start the upcoming National League Championship Series.
The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Friday that Tarik Skubal and Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start Games 1 and 2 of the series, respectively.

Skubal, 29, took the ball in Game 1 of Los Angeles' four-game triumph over the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS, striking out seven over six innings of two-hit, one-run ball.
The two-time Cy Young winner was acquired by the Dodgers ahead of this year's trade deadline and pitched to a 2.61 ERA for L.A. in 10 starts after the deal with the Detroit Tigers.
Yamamoto, meanwhile, got the ball in Game 3 against Atlanta, outduelling Chris Sale for 10 strikeouts over seven innings.
The 2025 World Series MVP picked up a win over Milwaukee in Game 2 of last year's NLCS, authoring a complete-game victory on the road.
Yamamoto, 28, was excellent once again during the 2026 regular season, pitching to a 2.53 ERA over 185 innings while racking up 182 punchouts and earning his second career all-star nod in MLB.
Milwaukee has yet to announce its starters for this year's NLCS, but it is expected that Cy Young favourite Jacob Misiorowski will get the ball in Game 1 at American Family Field.
