The Philadelphia 76ers are loading up their war chest for some possible additional moves.
Philly has dealt guard Reggie Jackson along with their 2026 first-round pick to the Washington Wizards in exchange for guard Jared Butler and four second-round picks, NBA insider Marc Stein reported Thursday.
According to Stein, the first-rounder is the least favourable of the picks they hold from the Clippers, Thunder and Rockets.
The Wizards are sending second-round picks from 2027, 2028 and two from 2030 back to Philadelphia.
Jackson joined the 76ers in free agency this past off-season but the 34-year-old journeyman has struggled to produce averaging 4.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in only 12.4 minutes per game over 31 appearances.
Butler, meanwhile, has done well in limited minutes for Washington, averaging 6.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 11.3 minutes per game over 32 appearances.
The 76ers now own nine second-round picks from now until 2031.
