St. Louis Blues defenceman Torey Krug has been placed on the club’s non-roster COVID-19 list.
Krug, who joined the Blues on a seven-year, $45.5M deal in 2020, has two goals and six assists through nine games to begin the season.
In a corresponding move, St. Louis sent down forward Dakota Johnson to the AHL’s Springfield Thunderbirds and recalled defenceman Calle Rosen.
The Blues also announced Friday that forward Brayden Schenn has returned to St. Louis while the team is on a road trip to undergo further evaluation on an upper-body injury. Schenn left the ice during the first period of St. Louis’ game against the San Jose Sharks Thursday night.
The 30-year-old has three goals and three assists through nine games to start his fifth season in St. Louis.
The Blues have road games coming up Sunday against the Ducks and Tuesday against the Jets before returning home next Thursday to face the Predators.
