Canadiens' Evans, Lehkonen remain out for Game 5 vs. Maple Leafs

Kyle Bukauskas and Eric Engels discuss the Toronto Maple Leafs taking a stranglehold on their series with the Montreal Canadiens.

The Montreal Canadiens will be without two important bottom-six forwards -- Jake Evans and Artturi Lehkonen -- as the team tries to avoid elimination in Game 5 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Evans was injured in Game 1 while Lehkonen was injured in Game 3. Eric Staal and Cole Caufield have replaced them in the lineup in recent games.

Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe was less definitive in his lineup announcement Wednesday, saying forward Nick Foligno is day-to-day. Foligno has missed the past two games with a lower-body injury.

If the Canadiens are able to avoid elimination, there are 2,500 fans expected to attend Saturday's Game 6 at the Bell Centre. But first, the team will need to find a way to score more than it has so far with only four goals through the first four games.

You can watch Game 5 between the Canadiens and Maple Leafs on Sportsnet, CBC and SN Now beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET/ 4:30 p.m. PT on Thursday.
